A light and airy triangle shawl in the Shetland style to knit from laceweight or fingering yarn. Pattern includes two sizes featuring multiple stitch patterns, including a scalloped hem. The triangle is knitted from the center back neck outward.

It is not necessary to obtain the exact gauge; a looser gauge will make a larger shawl and a tighter gauge will make a smaller shawl, be aware that yarn requirements will also vary.

Finished Size:

  • Shawl: 84 in. W x 36 in. long, blocked
  • Scarf: 42 in. W x 15 in. long, blocked

Suggested Yarn: Lace weight or fine Fingering weight

  • Shawl: 826-918 m./900-1000 yds.,
  • Scarf: 184m/200 yds,

Needles: 4 mm. (US 6) circular
Gauge: 22 sts and 30 rows = 10 cm./4 in. square in stockinette, unblocked
