A large square shawl featuring an array of swirling snowflakes (or stars) and pine motifs. The finished piece makes a beautiful throw or generous shawl for yourself or as a gift.
Shawl is worked from the center out to hem edge in the round, and has an applied (knitted on) lace edging at the outer border. Recommended for solid or handpainted yarns with very subtle color variations.
Finished Size (blocked): 57 in across edge, 80 in diagonal
Suggested Yarn: 2300 m / 2600 yds. of lace weight
Needles:
3.25 mm. (US 3) 24- and 36-inch circular needles,
3.25 mm. (US 3) DPNs, and
